I continue to branch out and become more comfortable photographing people, which was made immeasurably easier by reading this lovely book. Knowing these subjects personally may have helped in this shoot, though I'm certainly from the school of thought that I'd rather perform in front of 300 people I don't know than 3 I do. Thinking they would feel the same way, I made one of my lists - this one of poses and places - to help things along. Happily, I didn't need to pull it out of my pocket once.
They just made moments.
